HOW LONG WILL MY PROJECT TAKE?
Each project is unique and varies in delivery time. Winter can be a busy time painting motorcycles while its still too cold to ride! An average paint job on a helmet, hard hat or guitar for example is currently about two weeks. An entire motorcycle including faring and saddle bags can be as much as six – eight weeks, also depending upon the level of detail in the artwork.
CAN YOU DO CONCEPT SKETCHES?
Concept sketches are sometimes required. If required, it is better to render once we are in possession of your piece(s) to do lay-out and design directly on each piece so we can accurately use the space and shapes. There’s no better way to get the perfect unique design!
WHAT SURFACES DO YOU PAINT ON?
We mostly paint on metals and plastic, however we get the occasional call to paint on rock, wood, concrete or other miscellaneous materials.
Your DO YOU DO ANY BODY WORK, TANK SKINNING, ETC?
Yes, we can restore and/or repair most dints, scratches and surface rust. We must view the damage before an accurate quote can be rendered.
DO YOU DO ANY MOTORCYCLE FABRICATION INCLUDING WELDING?

WHAT KIND OF PAINT DO YOU USE?
We use high quality automotive paint and clear coats. We use Limco and Dupont for base coats and priming. Our favorite paint for the artwork is House of Kolor, unless there is a requirement for water based acrylics.
CAN YOU DO ACCURATE PORTRAIT LIKENESSES?
Yes, this is one of our absolute favorite specialties!
WHAT ARE THE OPTIONS FOR DROPPING OFF AND PICKING UP OUR PROJECT?
There are many options. Generally since we’ve moved near Strathmore, AB, customers are welcome to come check out our new facility and professional paint booth. We are also willing to meet in either Calgary or Strathmore, or items can be dropped off/picked up at Don’s office in Calgary SE. If customers are from a further distance, we suggest shipping with a trusted courier (address available when contacted). We are currently fabricating a bike trailer for customers who want to bring their bike out, but don’t want to travel on the gravel roads.
CAN YOU DISASSEMBLE AND REASSEMBLE MOTORCYCLES, GUITARS, ETC?
Yes, we can do the disassembly/reassembly of these at an extra charge.
CAN YOU STORE THE DISMANTLED MOTORCYCLE WHILE THE PARTS ARE BEING PAINTED?
Yes, we have plenty of room on the new acreage for proper, safe storage of your baby!
WHAT RANGE OF ITEMS HAVE YOU PAINTED?
We’ve painted on everything from motorcycles, helmets, hard hats, guitars, golf clubs to cement and even rocks and more!
HOW DO I GO ABOUT MAINTAINING THIS WORK OF ART?
To ensure your paint job does not dull, waxing is not recommended for 10 – 12 weeks. Use micro-fiber cloth or micro-fiber wash mitts to clean your bike, helmet or hard hat project. Quickly drying your piece eliminates the probability of water spots.
Hand polishing is always the safest method of up-keep. Using air tools to apply polish puts your finish and paint job at risk.
